After lunch in a local restaurant, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the city’s Islamic quarter.
Saladin Citadel:
We will visit the Citadel, a medieval fortress overlooking the city, and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture with its impressive dome and minarets rising over Cairo’s skyline.
We will end the day with a stroll through the labyrinth of alleys in the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, then return to the hotel.
